How We're Governed

EARFISH's governance operates through three interlocking bodies ensuring both strategic leadership and grassroots accountability. Membership is structured to ensure representation from all member countries and stakeholder groups.

General Assembly

The supreme decision-making body comprising all member country representatives. Sets EARFISH's strategic direction and key policies.

The Bureau

The executive body providing strategic leadership, communications coordination and regional platform liaison between General Assembly sessions.

The Secretariat

Operational arm responsible for day-to-day coordination, programme implementation, stakeholder engagement and administrative functions.
