Who We Are

A Regional Voice for Fisherfolk

EARFISH — the Eastern Africa Platform of Non-State Actors in Fisheries and Aquaculture — was established in 2017 within the framework of the African Union as a result of the Dar es Salaam small-scale fisheries and aquaculture stakeholders consultations.

We represent fifteen country organisations drawn from fisher and coastal communities, fish farmers, women fish traders and practitioners across Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.
